Sci-Fi Alert: Weatherman/Author Bill Evans to Sign Books Tonight

It's Weatherman Wednesday tonight at the Freehold Barnes and Noble, where ABC meteorologist Bill Evans will sign copies of his weather-centric thriller, Frozen Fire.

After Tweeting this morning's weather--"Beautiful day in NYC today after severe t-storms yesterday!"--Evans announced signings at the Freehold B&N tonight and Holmdel B&N on Thursday for the new novel(twitter.com/evansweather).

The weatherman's latest sci-fi endeavor focuses on a fantastical underwater clean-energy plant, and the fight by earth-loving protagonist Garner Blaylock to save the plant's mines from big businessman and all-around villain Dennis Cavendish.

Frozen Fire is Evans' second sci-fi thriller, a follow up to the best-selling Category 7. Both books were co-written by author Marianna Jameson.

Stop by tonight to chat with the familiar face from Good Morning America and WABC and listen to excerpts from Frozen Fire. The event is free to the public and will take place at 7PM at the store on Route 9.
