Boy Scouts Host Recruitment Meetings This Fall | News Transcript

Freehold youngsters interested in Scouting can look forward to open recruitment nights and info meetings being scheduled in Borough and Township schools as school starts back up.

The News Transcript published a list of upcoming meetings, open to boys in grades 1-5 interested in outdoor adventure, service, and citizenship.

• St. Rose of Lima (Pack 18), Freehold Borough. Recruitment Night: Sept. 18, 7 p.m. Contact: Jim, 732-780-5472. Meets third Friday at 7 p.m.

• Joseph J. Catena School (Pack 158), Freehold Township. Recruitment Night: Sept. 15, 7 p.m. Contact: Rick, 732-252- 9933. Meets third Friday at 7 p.m.

• Freehold Elks 1454 (Pack 454). Serves Scouts with Special Needs or Disabilities. No recruitment night, call for information. Contact: Leni, 732-308-0650. Meets Fridays at 6:30 p.m.
