CentraState family medicine doctor opens practice in Howell; Offers free blood pressure and diabetes screenings;

HOWELL TOWNSHIP—Julie B. Stern, MD, has opened a practice at Cherry Tree Plaza, 2352 Route 9 South. Dr. Stern is board certified in family medicine and completed her residency in family medicine at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold.

Dr. Stern is offering free blood pressure and diabetes screenings on Mondays, 1-8 p.m. and Thursdays, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. through March 2010. No appointments are necessary. The practice offers same day appointments and accepts most insurance plans.

Dr. Stern offers complete family care for children ages newborn and older, adolescents, adults and seniors. Her practice offers healthy and sick visits; well child visits; immunizations; geriatric care; women’s healthcare; preventive medicine, and the management of chronic disease including diabetes, hypertension and arthritis.
